Considering that this app really does not do that much and the updates are very minor, the subscription model is overpriced as is the one time buy of software.

Does not remove apps properly. Only handles the generic sprawl that apps create and does not handle the specifics for a given app. Considering that it is a subscription based software, this is a big negative as it should have app-definitions that know the extra sprawl of specific apps, just like malware-definitions know the attack vectors of malware. The app also does not remove all the caches it should, nor does it allow for end user defined cache areas to clean when cleaning caches. This app is expensive enough in a subscription model where it should have a constant update to the cache locations and the developers should perform due diligence in constantly updating such to perform an actual "clean". Hence this is really TidyMyMac and not CleanMyMac.
Reliability: 3.0
Annoyingly it keeps on reminding you of a disk that is inserted, low on space, and after you have pressed the "ignore" button a dozen times while the disk has not been removed. In the clean up sequence of removing foreign languages, etc, this app also has a tendency to remove too much from other 3rd party apps which can cause those apps to malfunction.

Never use the Application Manager Leftovers functionality, at times it shows things that are current support files for current apps installed. For instance now it shows me all the Affinity Suite support files. As well as all sorts of preferences that are NOT obsolete.
One dumb click and I'd lose all of that. This is a seriously dangerous functionality.

Annoying that the Applications Updating does not allow you to blacklist certain apps but does present all updatable apps selected automatically for update at each run. Could make one update an app to a new paying version when one wanted to just keep the current version and NOT upgrade, thus having to reinstall ore recover from Time Machine the previous version if one forgot to deselect it. There a few apps I will most likely never upgrade anymore yet want to keep on my system as they are.
I contacted support twice on this issue over time, they never answered me, but did just send me a mail asking if I was happy with support 😂
